Tim Sweetman opened his first Chick-fil-A in Millsboro, Delaware in 2018, where he pioneered hospitality practices that translate fine-dining principles into quick-service operations — an approach featured in QSR Magazine. His work centers on anticipatory service and giving team members the tools to create genuine surprise-and-delight moments.
A graduate of Stanford Graduate School of Business's LEAD program, Tim grew up in the Washington, D.C. metro area and has spent his career studying what makes teams and cultures thrive. His background spans nonprofit leadership, brand strategy, and organizational culture. He believes the best teams are built around character first — and that the details most operators overlook are exactly where the difference is made.
Tim is married to Emily and has five children.
